After registering the history of organising the ever first international virtual exhibition of matchbox and label in 2021, Bangladesh Matchbox Collectors' Club (BMCC), continues to organise one of the largest festivals of the world from January 1 to 15, in each following year. For the third time, BMCC is organising the international virtual exhibition. Team BMCC is very happy to organise the exhibition once again with 41 matchbox collectors from across the globe.
For the first time, BMCC set a theme for the exhibition so that the exhibition becomes much more beautiful and interesting. Theme for this time is-life on matchboxes and labels. BMCC wanted each participant to display a part of his/her collection which depict life in it's different aspects in a fascinating way.
The exhibition has been successful with the ardent participation of 13 countries. And also it's very interesting and satisfying to see that a number of new collectors have participated once again this time. BMCC works hard to spread the beautiful hobby of collecting matchboxes amongst the newer generation people in home and also strives for awakening the hobby once again amongst the people of abroad. It's interesting to see that every year some new countries are participating in the exhibition which indicates the ardent, re-energised activity of matchbox collectors in different parts of the world. This is also a matter of pride for BMCC to see that, by being inspired from the international virtual exhibition, organisations for matchbox collectors in other parts of the world such as British Matchbox Label & Bookmatch Society (BML&BS), Swiss Match Museum and Australian Match Cover Collectors' Society (AMCCS) are also organising international virtual exhibition for phillummenists.
